Can’t decide, easy cushions would be really handy but covered buttons sounds fun. They could work well together too! What days are they on? Will have a think.

      Hello Clare
I will be posting the timetable of classes tonight but the covered buttons are on Wednesday 7th June 7-9pm & easy cushions on Sunday 11th 1.30-4.30.
They would complement each other nicely.

    Thanks
    Valerie

    • mairib says:

      Hello Valerie
The next block of dressmaking from scratch is planned to begin on the 9th July. If you have a wee look at the class time’s page it’s a block of 5 Monday nights. Unfortunately I’m not available until then due to my evening classes at Leith Academy. If you’re a complete beginner can I also suggest thinking about the beginners sewing on Saturday the 7th? This is a 2 hour class that takes you through the machine & general sewing things.
Do let me know if you want to sign up & I can send you out a form.
      Happy Sewing

      Hello Claire

Sorry I don’t have any more planned at the moment as my Monday evenings will be filled running the beginners sewing class at Leith Academy. The link to there website is at the bottom if the class times page.
I usually fill the gaps between there terms with classes at my studio so the next one won’t be till the end of November/December if folk are interested.
The class is much larger than at the studio but it might be a good start for you. Have a look as you can book now for the term starting on the 10th September.

      Happy sewing
      Mairi
