I’ve got some new class times up in June for dressmaking and beginners sewing. You can see them here on my Class Times page.
Sewing for Beginners is a class for absolute beginners to dressmaking and sewing. You will discover how to use the sewing machine, make seams and understand pattern instructions. If you have a machine of your own please feel free to bring it with you to learn on. I will be running a class on Saturday 16th of June from 10:30-12:30pm
Dressmaking from Scratch is good for you if you are a beginner or just want improve your dressmaking skills. I will take you through general dressmaking & sewing techniques helping you work out any of those tricky bits in your pattern. Zips, collars, setting in sleeves, I will tailor the course to each person’s individual needs & aim to give a good finish to your garment. I will be running a class in two parts, on Saturday 2nd of June from 1-4.30pm and the second class on Saturday the 16th of June from 1-4.30pm.
I will also be doing the above class in a 4 week block of evening classes starting on Monday 18th of June from 7-9pm and each Monday the next 3 weeks at the same time.
