Kingfisher Clutch

Last year I was invited a wedding & made myself some lovely turquoise linen trousers to wear. After looking through my various handbags & not finding one to suit it seemed like an obvious solution to just make one.

I had found a lovely remnant piece of Bute tweed at my local charity shop & it was the perfect colour to match. What to embellish it with? A kingfisher as just the thing! Here’s some images of the embroidered bird in production & the finished clutch.
